Beginning Nosework - Searching for odor and focused response
Are you ready to train for one of the hottest new dog sports? In Beginning Nosework you will train your dog to find three odors (birch, anise, and clove), search with drive, and offer a focused response to alert you to their find. You will learn to read your dog as they search, and your dog will develop confidence as they drive the work. Each dog works one at a time, so even shy, and dog reactive dogs can train in a safe, comfortable environment. Dogs will need to be able to stay in a crate, or your vehicle, in between work. Beginning Nosework class runs six sessions, and is limited to six dogs. Classes are set to run 1 1/2 hours, however, if there are four dogs or fewer in a session, class will be one hour long. Six sessions for $150.00
